He instead concentrated on the headache he had from crying and having his head slammed against the stone floor, how his eyes burned, how his jaw ached from the rag that had been shoved into his mouth to muffle his shrieks no no no that was a bad place like with wrists and parts and the way his leggings felt around his knees and the room’s cold air against his flesh-

Loki does not weep. Loki gets up and ignores the blood and the stuff dripping down his legs and pulls his pants up and wipes the blood off of his face and straightens his clothes and goes straight to his room and cleans himself up and goes to bed and doesn’t think about what is still leaking out of him and stays awake all night into the morning when the sun shines on his face and then it stops mattering and Loki cries until he can’t breathe.
